Strike Gunner STG - Super Nintendo

Strike Gunner STG is a Super Nintendo vertical shooter from Athena built around high-speed aerial combat. Its standout hook is the Strike Gunner craft system, where two fighter units can combine into a single powered-up superfighter.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Action-focused shooter gameplay sends fighter pilots against alien invasion forces across vertically scrolling battlefields.
• The story centers on Earth’s allied countries and the rebel nation of Sovinia joining forces after hostile alien forces begin conquering the planet.
• The Strike Gunner arsenal includes offensive and defensive devices used to counter enemy aircraft, ground fire, and large boss-style threats.
• Two Strike Gunner units are central to the game’s premise, with the ability to merge into one stronger combat aircraft.

The campaign is framed around a secret Amazon Jungle fortress where Earth’s scientists develop the Strike Gunner from analyzed alien weaponry. Its scenario blends late-era Cold War disarmament fiction with a full-scale alien invasion setup.
